For most of my life, I contorted to what the world needed from me. Now, I’m integrating all aspects of myself—Mexican-born, American-raised, and living in Taiwan with a Persian husband. I’m trying to discover and integrate all the great things from the cultures I inhabit and all the fantastic people I admire.

SuLey is a twist on my middle name, but it’s also a play on words, meaning her law, so it’s a reminder to myself that I create my own rules. Neta is Mexican slang for the complete truth.
